However, the medication and the treatments are definitely not useless, as you so rightly pointed out in your Disclaimer @suesa. They are in existence only because of countless hours of research, experimentation and even self sacrifice (One only needs to check what ultimately happened of the Doctor who discovered radiation therapy and successfully treated thousands of patients and gave them fresh leases on life.
