Thanks for letting more people know about this awesome book. It's a shame it's not very well known outside of Russia. Is the English translation any good? I only read the original.

I've never read it in English. I think it'll be too hard for me, so I can't tell you. But first publication was in English, not in Russian, so I guess they did a good product.
Anyway, only 7 people read my post, so no one will read it.
I was only the one in my class who liked this book! In Saint-Petersburg we have performance in theatre, based on this book!
