I want to say this tactfully, but this post really makes me scratch my head.
Do you only post so Bernie will upvote you? Now that he "says" he won't anymore, you won't put any effort into quality posts?
What about the people that follow you with less SP that enjoyed it?
I understand motivation and effort, that's why there are less active users here on Steem when the price goes down.
Blaming Fulltime for something Bernie decided to do seems petty to me, more so than admitting to only creating content because Bernie supports it.
I am not upset, or accusing, just something that has weighed on my heart since I first noticed this post and I didn't know a good way of asking without sounding petty myself.
I make decent money off the blockchain, I don't NEED an upvote from a whale to survive (though it is fun hoarding SP). I have made many decisions in my life that wasn't economically reasonable (cutting out of work early to make sure I have enough prep time for my Tuesday show, for instance). But those are decisions I make because I love the blockchain and literally the time I have taken off from work to focus on some Steem content will never be able to be repaid in upvotes.
I mean, looking back, I have probably given up enough work in the last 2 months to buy my current SP.
Again, just looking for clarification and an opportunity to expound on the post, if you are so willing.
I post for the opportunity to make rewards. Let's just put it like that. However, it has become increasingly apparent to me that there is no way in blue hell I'll ever get anywhere here. No matter how hard I try.
I don't feel like putting in the effort just because. I've worked hard to create something worthy of being rewarded. Putting it out for free feels like a waste.
It takes so much time, effort, energy, and brainpower to produce.
I understand that it's pretty dickish to those who have less SP and have enjoyed it, but I don't know what to say. I need to eat, and I need to put that energy per day towards something that is going to make me that food money.
