RE: Challenge #03069-H161: Steep Repair Work

In real life, sadly, the abusers will NEVER say sorry. I can see it now, families fighting to find a way to alleviate the debt, some possibly even ending up in jail themselves for supporting their childrens' abuse of Barbara, the parents' employers refusing to allow anyone to mistreat the parents of the poor girl, as they know full well she was an innocent in all of this. I can see it being a massive uproar in the entire station where the families are living, many families possibly moving away, refusing to accept they did anything wrong and fuming under the fact they have to pay damages, etc.

Sort:

Yeah. The biggest cowards are the most likely to attack when they're confident and run when there's consequences.

The evidence has to be undeniable or those same cowards will pull the "promising young man" defense and cry about being the "real victim" etc. etc.

The families are facing hefty stuff. There's whole new chapters in the CRC parenting manual [and test] about how to curb bullying behaviour in those new to social interaction.

The biggest hill to conquer is getting those who did wrong to acknowledge that they did it, and that it was wrong.
