It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another year. As we approach the holidays, we are reminded that this is a time to celebrate loved ones; to cherish those that are with us and fondly remember those that we wish were still here. It is also a time for many of us to open our hearts to those less fortunate, who may not be able to enjoy the festivities of the season.
Looking back, 2021 has been another difficult year for the world, for the country and for many of us personally, as we continue to grapple with Covid-19 and its consequences for our economy and in our everyday lives. In the words of the great Helen Keller, who never let adversity stand in her way: "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."

Yet most people on the Hive blockchain are trying to do things alone. Most people focus on their own posts, instead of interacting with others. Most people focus on individual growth, instead of collective growth. This leads to s lot of ignored and overlooked posts.
Either way, there are a few good people on this platform, and this is why I keep using it.
