Onam is the biggest celebration among malayalis. Here i am sharing some of the pictures from my last year onam celebration in my college.
Onam has been celebrating in the month of august or september. It actually depends upon the malayalam calender. Thats why its in august or september. Wherever there is a malayali in the world they will celebrate onam definitely. A lot of traditional things are happening during that time. I dont have that much pictures right now. This is a glimpse frim my last year onam celebration. Here in this collge the onam is celebrating for the 1st time in a grand manner. You can see that a beautiful (floral carpet)pookkalam and sadhya (meals) served in the plaintain leaf. Normally after the sumptuous lunch there will be a lot of fun games happening. But here we couldn't conduct any this time.. we hope we can celebrate onam more pretty in the coming year
