Employees of Tri-County Times were met with the shocking announcement today, the company they work for had been sold. The first edition of the Times was produced April 3, 1994. Today the Sunday circulation is reported to be 19,000 and the Wednesday edition at 8,000. It is not known at this time who the buyers are. There are no plans to change the paper in the immediate future.
