As you can see in the image it was raining a bit. But that did not stop us from admiring those birds and taking in the situation.
We shure had a cool time in the zoo and the frames of the flamingos are rely nice I think

Yeah, it was an amazing experience. When we lived in a rural part of Yucatan, the flamingos sometimes flew right over our balcony :) And pelicans and cormorants too. Sweet memories...

Oh yeah, we loved the balcony and spent a lot of time there, just sitting and enjoying the views of the surrounding jungle and the birds flying over our heads :) The only drawback was that sometimes, scorpions stopped by to say hi :D

Oh yeah, our house was literally surrounded by coconut palms :) We must have eaten tons of coconuts when living there haha :) One of the advantages of living in rural tropics.
I and even found one picture of the flamingos flying over our house...

In the zoo zürich you can go realy close to the birds. They are not so shy and used to people. All the shots are taken with a 50mm lens so I had to move a lot for a good perspective.
Using a 50mm lens improves your photography skilly by forcing you to move around and look for perspectives.
