Oh my God I believe I voted it early! They really need to either change that or don't put it in the feed for 15 minutes. I got a little excited seeing your Feathered Friends & Boom oh, I pounced on it.
Absolutely nobody does the feathers like you do. I love the one with the bald eagle on the ground. I am not sure I have ever seen one on the ground. Not in my lifetime, but I still have time. I really think your gaggle of geese came out well and to be honest I am a little bit jealous of your cherry trees in bloom already.

Thank you very much, Denise! There are a handful of people that have me on autovote and always vote in the first few minutes. Does that cause some sort of problem? If it does, I'm not aware - or worried about it. I'm happy you liked the birds, I try to come up with a different mix each week. All my votes & resteems for the next 24 hours will probably go to feathered friday - so send me a crow or something, ok? And if not, I'll still visit your page soon :-)
Oh I'm not worried, but those on autovote should change the way they vote. There is an option to delay the voting for 15 minutes, which is what they should be doing or they lose 60% of their vote, which goes back into the rewards pool. I specifically did your post so that I would remember to try to get a bird tomorrow. You know it being Market Friday and how busy it gets!
That's so funny because I did my feather friday thing early and then I started thinking today was Friday!
Early is good! I put my MarketFriday up Thursday night to give people a chance to get one together in case they have forgotten. I think the same can be said for yours!

Great photos! I have a list of birds that I see around here but never get pictures of and Barn Owl is near the top. That and a pheasant I have been seeing lately. Interesting the birds that are the same - there is a pair of hooded mergansers we see on the local creek and those that are different. We have scrub jays not stellar jays.
I'm officially out of Barn Owls - I almost never see them, or pheasants now that you mention it. I may get the names wrong sometimes, I wonder if those really are mergansers? I just double checked on the hooded mergansers so I know that one is correct. Thanks a lot, Steven, glad you liked the birds!
I've got a picture of a hooded merganser for tomorrow :) My wife has a birding app called Merlin from Cornell Lab and also is in some birding groups on facebook. That's where we go for bird ID

I am so impressed! I feel like I need a better camera than my phone if I'm going to post anything. I've been birdwatching for about ten years and I have many pictures, but most of them are fuzzy. I will try to get some shots worthy of your site.

Howdy sir Keith! dang, every single photos here is amazing. Anyone ever tell you that you should be photographer? lol. Hey do you know what that Bald Eagle was doing on the ground? Did it have some prey that it caught?
Thanks very much! I think maybe the Eagle had caught something, I'm not sure. It sure is strange seeing it on the ground - but look at those eyes... I think it's telling me to keep back!

I love all your feathered friends Keith and all the people who love our feathered friends. I was led here when I saw Melinda's beautiful photograph a few days ago of the red cardinals.
I'd love to share the beauty of some of our Australian birds but don't have the camera for it. Have a friend who goes all over Australia photographing birds and she takes the most amazing photographs. Maybe I'll interview her sometime to share her work here.
