NFTs are blowing my mind!

Hey there everyone! My first blog entry gave a brief intro into how I got here. Please give it a read if you haven't already, it is very much appreciated!

For this second entry, I just want to jump right into it. NFTs are HOT and these communities popping up are exciting. A few weeks ago, I had read about the success of the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Months ago, I heard about Vee Friends via Gary V. Many times over the passed year I have heard about NFTs becoming tickets to events and even the keys to exclusive communities. The evolution of NFTs is happening right before our eyes!

Early last week, I found myself looking around on OpenSea. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for but then I came across this really cool looking lizard. A solider of the
Crazy Lizard Army.

There were tons of other awesome lizards that I would have purchased if I could have but this one was affordable and perfect. I scooped it up for .035 (not inc gas). The sailor hat and striped shirt reminds me of when I used to work on the water! The carrot is cool, who doesn't love carrots??? I later found out there's a niche crowd around these carrots which is very entertaining. The floor price got up to .4 but its hanging around .3 now. Its still so early.

After joining the discord and throwing myself out there a little bit, I have discovered that the Crazy Lizard Army is LEGIT! The community is active as hell, chat non-stop flowing, tons of twitter profiles linking up... the photoshop and gif game is strong too 😆. This project has an extremely promising roadmap that includes a comic series and a place in the metaverse! The dev team is on point. If you can get one I highly recommend it! Soon, you will be able to burn 3 of your lizards for a very unique dragon. I wasn't able to get 3 lizards but I am hopeful I can flip a few things to get more. When the burn comes its going to make single lizards more rare. No matter what you have though, you will always be unique! There is talk of a dragon preview dropping sometime soon!

I can't wait to see what they look like!

I wonder if there may be a day where the Bored Apes own a yacht club where they host events throughout the year? Maybe even reward members with actual yachts? Am I getting too ambitious? Lol! I do believe that if the development teams behind these projects keep quality material and hype flowing, annual events won't be out of the realm of possibilities. You could have NFT vendors, food, music, and special activities related to the project. Have part of the story for the comic series written live during the event! You could even do a live MINT special giveaway! Oh man I have so many ideas.
I'm sure some of this is already happening and I'm not aware.

Anyway, its going to be an interesting week of NFTs. Other than my one of a kind lizard, I managed to scoop up two GSA Agents from the Galactic Secret Agency and four Bots from Rebel Bots. The first 3 Rebel Bots belong to my father-in-law... he wants me to manage them for him, lol! I'm excited to see what kind of offers I may get this week.

Folks, I can't stress this enough... GIVEAWAYS GIVEAWAYS GIVEAWAYS! It is a wonderful tool to help give people a chance to get into the NFT world. I won a pill from BYO Pills via twitter that I think is going to be very valuable, especially when you can use it in the metaverse! I also just won a giveaway from Rogue Society Bots via discord!!!

Some of these projects are planning on metaverse battlegrounds! Where you can actually duke it out with your NFTs. How cool would that be? Maybe we could see a Lizard riding a Dragon hopped up on BYO Pills fighting an Ape on a yacht with golden banana cannons. Haha. That would be wild...

There are soooo many awesome projects out there like all of the ones I've mentioned here. Make sure you have fun exploring and spend your $$ wisely! I encourage you to find an active community and do your part to help it grow. Be sure to give Crazy Lizard Army and these other projects some love!

p.s. I'm still playing @Splinterlands here and there, waiting for some funds so I can rent a bunch of cards and go HAM for a day. There's so much going on, I wish I could do everything at once.
