Juice fasting

in #fasting8 years ago

Today is day 7 of my first ever juice fast!

In the past I’ve only done lemon water fasting or short dry fasts...

I didn’t plan this, it just happened naturally after I arrived home from my 4 days in the city...

I didn’t think I really agreed with juice fasting due to giving the body isolated chemistry... I always felt eating the whole fruit was key...

I do see the benefits however... the astringent effect is phenomenal... I removed long strands of mucus and a lot of congestion was removed from my head...

Giving the body some chemistry during a fast helps to pull & push old chemistry out, which is what we want...

What I love about fasting is that when you see mucus or toxins come out, you are 💯 sure that it’s old waste as nothing new is coming in...

There are many ways to play around with detoxification & cleaning our bodies...

I am Grateful daily for this knowledge & to get the chance to finally feel what health feels like...

Growing up with aches & pains caused me to accept them as normal & just part of living...

I was never truly myself...

Gaining the strength to reverse hardship & pain is the best gift I have ever given myself...

Anyone can heal almost anything if they chose to dedicate the time, stick to the dietary protocols and ride out the odd healing crisis, aches & pains when they arise for the last time as they exit your body!!

Nice one here..
Its a real juicy diet

Good luck! Keep going:)

That's awesome, thank you for sharing 😊

I have been wanting to do a juice fast since I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead on Netflix. I even bought a juicer and now have a juice every day, but I have yet to do a juice fast.

What motivated you to try a 7 day juice fast, and how was the experience?
