Hi every one, how was your night? i hope every thing is fine.
As the ongoing project on farm Daily contribution initiated by my mentor @sirknight, this is my own contribution about sheep farming.
WHAT IS SHEEP FARMING?
Sheep farming is the raising and breeding of domestic sheep. It is a branch of animal husbandry. Sheep are raised principally for their meat, milk, and fiber. They also yield sheepskin and parchment.
Sheep have been rearing as a domestic animal from the ancient time. Usually sheep farming means 'rearing sheep commercially for the purpose of meat, milk and wool production.

Sheep are quadrupedal, ruminant mammal typically kept as livestock. Like most ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates.
a domesticated ruminant mammal with a thick woolly coat and (typically only in the male) curving horns. It is kept in flocks for its wool or meat, and is proverbial for its tendency to follow others in the flock.
HOW PROFITABLE IS SHEEP FARMING
Small-acreage farms can provide suitable space for profitably raising sheep. With productive sheep and close control of expenses, a profit is possible. Sheep produce income from the sale of meat, wool and milk. ... Most sheep are sheared once per year to produce wool.
How many acres do you need for a sheep?
Pasture Size. Sheep don't require as much space as some larger livestock, like cows. A half-dozen sheep can happily live on just one acre of land, and a flock of more than 100 could be kept on 30 acres. Sheep should never be kept alone as they are social animals.
DO SHEEP FARMERS MAKES MONEY?
As with other agricultural enterprises, sheep farming is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme. The profit margins are narrow. To make money raising sheep, you would need at least several hundred ewes, probably more than 500. ... Sheep farmers derive their income from the sales of lambs and wool and related products.
Worldwide there are more than a dozen dairy sheep breeds, but only a few are available in the United States: East Friesian and Lacaune. Specialized dairy breeds produce 400 to 1,100 pounds of milk per lactation, whereas the milk production from conventional sheep breeds is only 100 to 200 pounds of milk per lactation.
HOW MANY BABIES DO SHEEP HAS A DAY?
First-time moms, especially yearlings, are more likely to have single births, though twins are not uncommon in some breeds. Ewes produce their largest litters of lambs when they are between the ages of 3 and 6. There are some breeds of sheep that average more than two lambs per litter.
BENEFITS OF SHEEP FARMING
The Advantages Of Sheep Farming. Raising sheep is rewarding in many ways when done right. A sheep farm can provide you with milk, tenda meat and of course wool. Its very important that you provide your sheep the nutrients because they will be able to fight of common illnesses.

Awassi Sheep - The Awassi sheep is a dairy sheep breed that was developed in what is the now the Middle East.
