Steemchurch introduces steemchurch farms. Farming which has always been a source of livelihood to generations of men both past and present. Either in the form of batter or sales or just mare production for personal consumption.

Farming has various categories, from different types of animal farming (fish farming, pig farming, poultry, etc) to crop farming.

WHY STEEMCHURCH FARMS:

Around the world, approximately 3billion people live below $USD2.50 daily which is unimaginably low compared to what you and I consume.

Hunger as a silent pandemic:

Inadequate nutrition is an underlying cause of 45% of preventable child deaths (2.8 million) each year. Children suffering from acute malnutrition are 2.5 times more likely to die than children without malnutrition; and those with severe acute malnutrition are 9 times more likely to die than a properly nourished child.

There’s enough food to feed everyone – but it isn’t well distributed:

One third of the food produced worldwide is wasted, costing the global economy around US$750 billion per year.

And to this effect, the charge has been placed by @sirknight to @abiye the creation and oversight of @farms.

Parishioners have been called out to help assist with the task.
