Following on my previous post about my introduction post, I m here to share the update about my farming work .

Farming land Activity Today

                   Hello, welcome to my blog.

So today had me getting my hands dirty.... Yes, dirty with farm work or were you thinking of something else? It's the planting season here so I decided to plant some seedlings - maize, cassava. Doing this, there is no doubt because it would benefit me in few months to come. I'd be eating fresh farm produce right from my land. I'll equally be saving some cents, which would have been used in buying them from the market.

there's some portions of land in my compound where I usually cultivate so last week, I cleared it and prepared the ridges afterwards. I also prepared the seedlings for planting.

The cassava stem(stick) I kept had sprouted, so I planted it too. I had already planted about three cassava sticks that sprouted earlier.
The maize were soaked in water overnight. This would help speed up the germination process and produce healthy crops.

farm work is not that easy with manual labor sometime because it takes a lot of time to do people do value farming this days because of time and stress.

Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty in order to do something great 🙂 . And farming is one of them. It feels great when you see the result of your work in the farming. Keep up the good work!
