Sorry it took so long to reply @quantumanomaly and thanks for the feedback, I like your perspective and I think this might be the way I'm leaning.

I want to make this saga amazing and I don't want to make a massive mistake with it, I think if I put out the history in an interesting and compelling way people may not even realise they aren't getting the the story but information on the development of the world at large.
