What an amazing game Germany vs Sweden was, although I was kind of hoping for Germany not to win since I don't really like their team this year and they had benched Özil who's one of my favorites. They delivered with a last minute goal. Things are going to get interesting next gameweek as they have to win against South Korea and Sweden has to lose against Mexico.
There's been an astounding amount of penalties this year with the addition of Video Assistant Referee's, does it mean that so many penalties should have taken place in the past but haven't?

Very great games all of these were. In South Korea vs Mexico , I loved Son heung min's consolation goal curled into the top corner. Belgium won pretty easily due to their teams brilliance. The thing that wasn't one sided was Germany vs Sweden. What a game. Emotion filled and very thrilling. I chew all my nails hoping that Germany win. I'll regret not having chosen Harry Kane as captain. I decided to keep Meunier as captain because of his assist.
That being said this day has been bittersweet for my team, Kane scored and Trippier made an assist, however I just realised I forgot to bring Inui from the bench and I will be losing at least 5 points...
They were all beautiful games. Made football look more beautiful. Fans,crowds,the cheers Nd the goals. All attached to gether. Loved germny vs sweden. The comeback wss fabulous. And no words to describe that late winner from Toni Kroos.😍😍😍. Belgium vs Tunisia was also fun. Great work from hazard,lukaku and Debruyne. Played like a team.
This world cup really show that it doesn't matter how famous or generally successful your team or your nation is or has been. I really like how some "underdogs" are surprisingly successful while well-established teams struggle.

I've dropped from 7th to 18th, thanks to Harry Kane! Having already played my wildcard for round two, I think round three is going to be tough. Some teams have already qualified and might rest players, and some of my players are playing against each other! I sense I might not be the only one a bit unsure how round three is going pan out!
Wish I would discover this fantasy game earlier, so I could participate in it!
