Sometimes words and melody freely live in their natural home together. If only it was the same for the child and their true family.
I offer to you the song parody, "A World Of Apathy". based on the song, "To Make You Feel My Love". sung as a cover song by Billy Joel. Between the original Dylan lyrics and the parody, there are ironies too obvious to ignore.
A World of Apathy
Stolen children, fears that have no end.
Voiceless cries that cannot find a friend
A world of apathy.
A shattered innocence, with greed they steal.
A twisted tuned out time where nothing's real.
A world of apathy.
As parents spend their hard earned cash
Intimidation comes with deceitful lies.
As the CPS kidnaps its stash.
In streets and prisons and the graveyards where
Too little people took the time to care
A world of apathy.
A shattered life that spiraled down with fear.
The winds of truth will change and find a way
To help the zombie deaf to hear.
Protect their innocence, for we are the key,
Tomorrow cries in fear for all to see
A world of apathy.
Will you help us save the family
From a world of apathy.
The stolen trafficked child suffers alone in silence, as does the broken family, stalked by the CPS. The press-stitude propaganda media is silent. The preachers and big brother informants only report on the suspected neglect of families and not the theft by the CPS. The judicial system is compromised and rigged. With the general public being ignorant to the truth, it truly is a world of apathy.
But there is another world. It is the world of protection and love. When we choose to be proactive and offer our voices for the voiceless, we protect innocence. When we unite together, we are the non-compliant force that have the power of change. We can turn a apathetic world into a world of love and protection, where families are safe and free.
Will you help end child trafficking and save the family? Will you turn from apathy and embrace love? Together, we make a difference.
