How Life can change in an instant...

My wife and I tried for a good couple of years to fall pregnant. Eventually, one Friday afternoon I got a call from saying that we pregnant. There are no words to describe the feeling  I had inside, I was going to be a dad. Something I have always wanted and something I have honestly dreamt about.
When we went for our first gynae appointment, I was so excited to see the tiny heartbeat, I couldn't even control my tears. When the doc first showed us the tiny spec on the screen beating, my tears flowed so easily but then he said, what's this? Another tiny heartbeat, I was shocked, scared and excited all in one go. We were having twins...
When the gynae finds out that a couple is expecting twins, in my country you are required to visit the gynae every second week for a scan, so every second week we went for a scan and every second week we saw our 2 little angels grow and grow.

On the 3 month appointment, the gynae does a big scan to determine if any of the babies has downs syndrome or any other condition. After scanning and measuring the first baby, he says everything is well and he moves onto the second baby, while doing the measurements he stops and his face goes completely white and his hands start to tremble, my wife got tears in her eyes and I stop video recording because we thought that something might be wrong with the second baby, the doc grabs my hand and says, "I think we missed a third baby"... I was completely numb and didn't know what to say, my wife and I gathered up the courage for being parents to twins but triplets is a totally different ball game... 

So yes, here I am, a father of 8 month old triplet babies. My wife and I were married for 6 years and no babies and now it will be 7 years and 3 babies.
How life can change in an instant, i wake up in the morning and have 3 of the biggest most gorgeous smiles you will ever see and no matter how hard or tough my day at work might be, when I get home and see those 3 gorgeous smiles again, it makes life and everything that goes with it absolutely worth while...
