Thank You for Always Making Us Proud our Baby Girl!

in #family7 years ago

Every child is a gift from God and our children's achievement are just bonus. I just wanted to share you in this post how happy I am as a parent and how proud I am to have a child like Jhyrane.

Let me introduce to you my baby girl, she is jhyrane 6 years old now still calling her a baby because she is our only child. She is currently a kindergarten student in a public school but the best public school in the city. Best because they always won in terms of academics and in some activities versus private schools here.

Today she surprised me because she showed her achievements for the third quarter of this school year and decided to share it in the Steemit family.

Those photos above was taken when she was graduated as achiever in daycare days. Isn't she cute?

For this school year here are the lists of her achievements.

For the first quarter she received eager beaver award, for perfect quizzes and quarterly exams and same as other recognition that shows child's interest to learn.

The photo above is the photo for second quarter of her school year. She got a recognition for having a perfect scores in second quarter exams in two subjects and received an award for eagerness to do the task and ribbons for perfect quizzes.

The next photo above is for the third quarter of school year that was given today. I am just happy that she is the best in spelling, giving her teachers a perfect score for that subject. Again she was awarded for her eagerness to study and some perfect scores for the subject.

In this post I also wanted to tell you our technique that we usually used in our child to develop her self esteem and interest in study.

As a parent we always keep on telling her good things about her like for example when we started teaching her how to draw a circle. From her first trial we already given her a very acknowledging and encouraging words like" wow good job Jhyrane!, you made it perfectly my baby girl! Wow how nice Jhyrane, how did you do that can you teach me how you made that circle?"

By saying those words the child can gain an emotional support from her parents thinking that she can make it because she has a very supportive parent no matter what. There are also instances that her classmates got perfect score while she got 2 wrong answers in quizzes but still we gave her a good words like "oh good job my Jhyrane you only got two wrong answers how did you do that? You did a great job!"

To sum it all let's keep supporting our child starting today so that they can feel your love to them. Parent's support is a good start for them to build their good characteristic not just in school but also at home. Encourage them to do their best and just enjoy everything. Just go with the flow while learning. Don't push them to achieve something, just let it be. Never compared your child from another child because it can give your child a negative impact like jealous feelingto other's achievement. Tell good words about their little achievement and I can assure you now they will develop the eagerness to study hard and achieve something that will make you proud as their parent.

Every child is a blessing from above and be thankful no matter what.

I think I have to buy her a mini pool since summer is coming near. A simple gift for her achievement. You did a great job Jhyrane! We are so proud of you
