We had a funfilled weekend. After a long 5 hr drive to Fort McMurray, my friend and I relaxed in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The next day dawned pretty cold, and we weren't sure if we should cancel the festivities. But as evening approched, we decided to go ahead.
Bonfire off of Tower Road
The bonfire, made with old pallets, burned surprisingly hot, and that along with some hot chocolate, kept everyone warm. After feasting on smokies and roasted marshmallows, the real show began.
Not your typical gas station fireworks!
My friends have been buying fireworks online as they go on sale and had quite a stockpile ready to dazzle everyone. And dazzle they did!
After soaking in the hot tub again, because why not, we got a good night sleep for the next day. My daughter has always wanted to do an escape room, so my friend booked us into a company called Trapped.
With just a few hints, we made it out successfully! What a great weekend!
This post has been resteemed by Newbie Resteem. A non profit group of volunteers who help out new members by giving their posts more exposure. A really cool post, a pity the fireworks aren't on a video clip. I really like your previous posts pictures from Arizona too, I'd never heard of a petrified forest.
Sadly I have not yet figured out how to post a video yet. But I continue to research and learn!
