Hello everyone. From what I know, I think most of us here in steemit have a brother and a sister. Well, in our family, we are three girls and I'm the middle child. When we were young, there was a lot of sibling rivalry among the three of us. But that was before and now that we are older and more mature, the bond as sisters and love for each other grew deeper.
Just like my two sons. Kiel and Ben. My eldest is Kiel, a very bubbly toddler who does not get tired at all. He will be turning 4 years old this June and my youngest is Ben, who just turned 1 last February. Kiel and Ben are extremely opposites. I can describe Kiel's personality as an extrovert, sociable and outgoing type of person while Ben, who is more introvert, silent and the shy type of person.
This is Ben
This is Kiel.
Sometimes they fight with each other because Kiel, since being the firstborn does not want to share his toys with his brother. If he tries to share it, he will be the one to choose the toy that he will share with Ben. He sometimes bullies his little brother too. He teases Ben until he starts to cry. Well, kids are kids.
There are times also when Kiel gets jealous of Ben. When I carry Ben, play with him or give him a toy. Kiel also wants me to do the same with him. He will say, "mommy please carry me too or give me a toy also and play with me". In other words, whatever I do for Ben he wants me to do the same to him. I really need to have lots of patience when dealing with him especially if he has some tantrums.
I always tell Kiel not to play with Ben as if Ben is the same size with him because when he plays with Ben, he wrestles with him ending up Ben always crying in the end. But in spite of this, I can see that Kiel truly loves his little brother. He cares for him a lot. Just 3 days ago, Ben got sick and Kiel was so concerned with his little brother telling me, "mommy, let's pray for Ben because he is sick. I pity him so much". There was also a time when their cousins and aunts went here for a visit and they were playing with Ben, I saw how Kiel was so protective of Ben telling his cousins and aunts not to hurt him and be gentle in carrying and playing with him.
Kiel and Ben, they are my two adorable sons. They love to play and sometimes fight but their love and bond with each other will always be there. I know that Kiel and Ben will always be there for each other no matter what happens even as they grew older. The love keeps on growing and growing because they have that special connection between the two of them, that so-called **Brotherly Love. **
God bless everyone!

Wen ung dalawang makukulit na bata hehehe
Create a healthy rivalry :D We are seven in the family but we have never had a real conflict among ourselves only the two younger brothers after me who have had issues then but we have learned to get along. Growing up with different gaps must have been a good thing :D
Nagadu kau met gayam nga agkakabsat. The more the merrier. hehehe.
Mas maganda tlaga kung atleast may 3 years gap sa magkakpatid kc madali silang mgkakasundo habang lumalaki sila.
