Fame does not make a man noble, nobility makes a man famous. if a noble mind becomes sensitive to the fame, he is no more noble. Noble means doing everything without any ambition. nobility does not require or aspire any reward. A noble mind works with selfless, detached spirit and considers work to be its own reward.
my self of this quotation, has well said that a noble soul may conquer all weaknesses but he cannot override the desire to acquire fame. but whatever said or done by anybody it is undoubtedly true that the day the noble mind gets influenced by the lust of fame, his nobility diminishes upto the degree the lust is there. it is right that desire of getting famous is a great desire which an ordinary man cannot over-ride but for a noble man nothing is more important than the nobility in real terms.
