'IT'/The Fear Program/False Flags

in #falseflag7 years ago

penny-wise
adj.
: wise or prudent only in dealing with small sums or matters.

Hey guys just wanted to share some of my thoughts with you and some things I've come to realize in my journey so far. So I recently watched the remake of 'IT'(Andy Muschietti) in theaters. For those of you that don't know 'IT' is a movie a about a terrifying clown name Pennywise, who lives in the sewers and terrifies the children of Derry, Maine. 'IT' was originally a novel written by Stephen King in 1986 and in 1990 there was a miniseries adaptation.
So this has been around for a while. I must admit I've never watched the original miniseries all the way through, just bits and pieces. But, I've known this story since I was eight or nine. I must have been in the second grade back then...but one of the other kids on my bus had obviously seen the whole mini series because one day on the bus he asked us if we knew about 'IT', and we all said, "no". He then asked if we wanted to hear a story and of course we all said "yes". So he proceeded to tell the story of 'IT' on our school bus ride home over a period of three days. So that was my first introduction to 'IT'....I never had to watch the miniseries. It was a scary story. And he covered everything that you need to know...so I always knew the adults couldn't see Pennywise only the kids could see him...and I knew he would go after the kids when they were alone.

If you haven't seen the new film and you're not easily scared I definitely recommend it. It has great cinematography, wonderful acting, and just the right amount of comedy. I will warn you though...Andy Muschietti gives you no breaks in this film...something terrifying is constantly in the works. So if you are easily frightened I wouldn't recommend it.

One thing you guys should know about me is that when I watch films I pay attention. I pay attention to everything because I know it is not just entertainment and there is something the directors and writers are trying to communicate. Not to say that the whole purpose of doing a film is to make one single specific statement. So I got something out of this film, something positive.
I'm not going to give out any spoilers but I hope people realize what this movie is about. It's about Fear Programs. Pennywise is a representation of FEAR. Maybe some of you are familiar with the acronym False Evidence Appearing Real. If you plan on seeing the film please remember these words, try to find the real meaning besides just being entertained. Just remember :
1.'IT' wants to keep us divided
2.'IT' could be anything
3.'IT' is probably not real despite how convincing 'IT' may be.
4.Recognize a clown when you see one and simply laugh!
"Am I not real enough for you Billy?"-Pennywise

I watched the remake and I thought it was one of the best films that's come out of Hollywood this year. I think makes it so valuable is that it's not only a thrill ride but that it is meaningful, it expresses that there are powers that seek to divide people and thrive on that distrust. This is especially resonant in the U.S where the country is becoming more and more polarized. This message of unity in the face of fear is vital in our times. Great review and analysis. @rubix Cheers!

Thanks for lending your attention as it is the most you could pay anyone.
