Saint Michael The Archangel. Anyone knows him? Based on Catholic faith (my faith), St. Michael the Archangel, whose name signifies, "one who resembles God," drove the armed force of heavenly attendants (angels) who cast Satan and the defiant holy messengers into Hell and toward the finish of time, he will use the sword of equity to isolate the exemplary from the evil.
In our Catholic custom, St. Michael has four obligations:
(1) To keep on waging a fight against Satan and the other fallen holy messengers.
(2) To spare the souls of the dedicated from the energy of Satan particularly at the hour of death.
(3) To ensure the People of God, both the Jews of the Old Covenant and the Christians of the New Covenant.
(4) To lead the souls of the withdrew from this life and present them to our Lord for the specific judgment, and toward the finish of time, for the last judgment.
Therefore, Christian iconography portrays St. Michael as a knight-warrior, wearing fight defensive layer, and using a sword or lance, while standing triumphantly on a serpent or other portrayal of Satan. Once in a while, he is portrayed holding the balances of equity or the Book of Life, the two images of the last judgment.
Commitment to Michael the Archangel is one of the most seasoned dedications of the Church. Without a doubt, his parts in God's celestial arrangement go back before the Incarnation. It was St. Michael who drove God's armed force against Lucifer and alternate insubordinate fallen heavenly attendants, St. Michael who protects the Catholic Church and the pope, and St. Michael who, at God's orders will repeat his part against the Antichrist in the End Times.
In the Philippines, there are some Catholic churches whose patron is Saint Michael The Archangel. In my province (La Union), we have one in Bacnotan. I took some photos when we visited a year ago. The first and second church of Bacnotan was worked under the supervision of Father Juan Zugasti and it was finished from 1817 to 1819. The congregation was pulverized by an earthquake in 1860. The congregation was later reestablished by Father Saturnino Pinto and was finished by Father Bernardo Gonzalez with an abutting religious circle made of stone and wood in 1887.

Thank you for visiting.
Im not Catholic but reading things like this interests me.
Thank you very much @gailbelga !
You're very much welcome. As a modern protestant, for me it is important to learn the preachings and practices of other denomination to fully understand that God is not only present in one part of the body but all throughout.
I just want to share that the war in heaven was the explanation why such thing in Genesis 1 occurred. In Genesis 1:1 it says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It sheds a light that what God did was already finished. But then on the following verse it says that the world was void. How come it would be like that? The Bible would not be that inconsistent. Some theologians explained that it was because some of the Angels waged war against God, 3/4 fought against Him. And the remaining portion (which includes the one you gave a spotlight on) fought against those who rebelled against God.
Is it 3/4 or 1/3? I'm forgetting my theology here.
I forgot if its 3/4 or 1/3 because I had my theology 5 years ago. Hahaha im sorry
Hahaha. 3/4 is like a major coup!
I did a quick googling. -> https://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/www.compellingtruth.org/amp/one-third-angels.html
