Few days back, I received a call for a job interview, the job I wanted from the bottom of my heart, and decided to prepare my best, to make sure I perform the best I could, and went with an open head.
Having sailed through preliminary aptitude test and finding myself in top 5% of the number of applications they received I felt elated. I went for the interview and it started on a great note and we immediately hit it off. He started asking me about my interests, my practical experiences, my thought process and how I am as a person and after multiple follow up questions he gave me a great smile and asked when are you okay with joining?
After telling my preferences, I came out and I didn't get the job, it sucks I know, after a great day and a great interview, what came as a shocker was I didn't get the job, the job I prepared so hard to leave no stone unturned deterring my chances.
What am I going to do now?
I have two options. Either I can sit around and sulk about the entire thing or I can try again. Yes, future is unpredictable and I have had my days of sulking already but not anymore, I am going to standup and prepare again, this time harder and better because the biggest failure in life isn't failing it's giving up.
