Charmeleons can move their eyes independendly and look in 2 different directions at the same time.
They are also able to change the color on their skin for camouflage. At all they are interesting animals. Have you ever tried to look in 2 different directions at the same time?
And - if you could do that - could you process both images at the same time? If something is coming closer to you, would you be able to react?
I think there are also some ocotopus that are even faster with camoflaging than the charmeleons. They can do it in a matter of seconds. The charmeleon should need a bit longer to do that.
Some people keep them as pets - would be an interesting idea right? Far better that tarantulas or other weird insects.
