Flamingos pee on their own legs for cooling themselves.
Weird animals do weird things. Storks are supposed to do the same on hot days. Why not just take a cold bath? Does it always have to be something dirty?
And did you also know? The color of the flamingos is determined by the things they eat. They mostly eat small red crabs and this is why their feathers are red aswell.
They have a pretty long neck and long legs and are mostly seen standing in water and catching their food.
Below you can see a picture of a flamingo in its typical habitat. If I think about it - i've never seen a flamingo picture where the flamingos were not standing in water.
