Facebook intends to hire a variety of specialists for its new team. For example, one of them "will lead the identification and analysis of regulatory requirements and will develop policies, procedures and controls to ensure that Libra complies with all sanctions requirements. The employee will work with Calibra's legal and policy teams, as well as with Facebook partners and government agencies.
Facebook is also looking for additional general compliance experts. One of them will be an experienced banker who will address issues in the context of anti-money laundering and ensuring Calibra's compliance with the provisions of the Banking Secrecy Act.
Facebook has published a total of 27 vacancies related to Calibra's wallet. A number of them are also related to the study of data designed to help the social network understand how people interact with the application.
Earlier, the U.S. Congress said it would not refuse to monitor Facebook's cryptocurrency initiative.
