Steemit doesn't matter much when none of your friends are interested in using it, and decide to stay on Facebook.
"Join Steemit! The only social media platform none of your friends are using!"
PS: You're the one who always goes on and on about my eyelashes.
But, but, what about "staying for the community" then? I'm all confused now.
It’s OK. Your “confusion” may only be temporary!
😂😂
...there is definitely seems to be a 'lack of enthusiam' around steemit at the moment...
Blame it on the influence-buying bots.
No but you can get better, smarter, stronger and faster friends.
If I wanted to be with my friends, I'd do something else than sit on my computer every evening.
I think you put too much stock in maintaining friends. WTF is a facebook friend anyway? I closed my account 4 years ago and haven't spoken to...well, any of them. Oh, well. I have a grumpy, nihilistic Finnish guy to make stupid comments to. What else does one need? Also, don't you have a girlfriend? You shouldn't be wasting time with facebook anyway.
That’s a silly attitude. I value friends. I’m selective, but the ones that I have I value. I interact a lot with the chosen few I have as friends on Facebook. I don’t add or keep random meaningless people like a lot of people seem to. And what does me being in a relationship have to do with anything?
I'm incorrectly extrapolating my experience with facebook and grafting it onto you. In my experience, it was just a flow of worthless information and people I was probably never going to see again in real life. If I was going to see them again, I could just catch up with them then. I should have put friends in quotes, but I didn't. I have friends, but I go see them. I may not interact with them for years at a time, but I find that preferable to having to deal with a constant flow of crafted snapshots that don't represent reality. It was just noise. I assume your relationship is a real relationship worth putting care and effort into, a worthy pursuit. I rarely found 'the feed' to be anything like that. At least on steemit I get to interact with new people and hear opinions from all over the world.
You may think I'm trolling you. When I read back what I wrote, that's probably how I would read it, but I think I'm trying to get to the core of what you're about. I find your input interesting. Don't take my comments to be too adversarial. I apologize if I offend you. I'm just a stupid monkey trying to learn about and navigate the world I was born into.
