I'm still using other platforms btw, just to keep in touch with family friends, and using ads for biz stuff..
(Not encouraging people to quit facebook, but voted since you've already made that decision yourself..)

I totally get your point. For keeping in touch I now use Whatsapp, which is fast, encrypted and when sharing pictures they keep its resolution and good quality.
But I totally understand people still using FB, the groups are quite handy, theres still some useful resources there. I just find myself not using those... therefore my decision.
