I saw something which I found rather amusing on Facebook. It was a group where people were testing their security by asking others what they saw.
One person smugly came in and said "me".
What followed were a series of "nopes", "nothing" and "can't see a thing".
"Perfect" they said.
Then one individual came in and said "you have two children - boy and a girl - you have red hair (or at least have had it that way in the last 3 months), your husband has short brown hair, he is 37"... and it went on.
Turned out that they'd gone to the display photo (because these are all visible), found a like from the husband and then read about all her information from his perspective instead.
Goes to show, you're never as locked down as you think you are!
Yeah, that's a concern. You can lock down your profile, but someone else may leak your information. Did her husband lock down his profile after that? That's the real question.
I believe so, first thing she went off to secure!
Wow! Really? People like checking profiles on Facebook. They love pranking others. Thanks for letting us know.
