This is one of the best news for crypto market in a long time. Facebook recently reversed its ban on Crypto Ads by maintaining ban on ICO's
The news came from an announcement on offcial website of Facebook Business website, facebook announced
“In the last few months, we’ve looked at the best way to refine this policy — to allow some ads while also working to ensure that they’re safe. So starting June 26, we’ll be updating our policy to allow ads that promote cryptocurrency and related content from pre-approved advertisers. But we’ll continue to prohibit ads that promote binary options and initial coin offerings.”
Facebook had imposed its blanket ban on all cryptocurrency advertising earlier this year in the end of January
Now after six month of banning Crypto Ads, when Facebook as decide to step back and allow crypto ads it will be interesting to see how other's in the industry reacts...
Other Big Gaints tech companies like Google, Twitter were also banned crypto related ads...
Not all crypto ads are allowed
This basically means that now cryptocurrency wallet companies, exchanges and other crypto firms will be able to advertise their products and services on Facebook. ICOs and binary options, however, will still be banned
