Eyes are the doorway through which you see the world! They reflect your true self. They’re the most charming features of your face. Bright eyes indicate happiness and good health, whereas, tired eyes symbolize the opposite. Workload, improper sleep, fatigue, stress, bad diet and dehydration are responsible for tired eyes. To get attractive eyes you don’t need to invest in chemical products. Try natural solutions to get your job done!
Wedges
Cucumber and potato slices reduce dark circles and puffiness.
Place thick, chilled slices of cucumber/potato on your eyes to calm them.
Fluids
Rosewater revitalizes the skin around your eyes. Milk relaxes your eye muscles and reduces puffiness.
Place cotton soaked in cold rosewater or milk, on your eyes and then, wash with regular water.
Oils
Almond/coconut oils moisturize the skin near the eyes and reduce eye puffiness and ageing signs. Massaging with anyone improves blood circulation.
Lavender oil reduces eye puffiness. Mix it with another oil, apply and massage with it.
Brews
Green/chamomile tea cleanses your eyes and reduces redness and itching. Wash your eyes with cool green/chamomile tea and then, rinse with fresh water.
Put chilled black/green tea bags on your eyes to reduce eye irritation.
Spices
Turmeric eliminates dark circles and recovers eye smoothness. Soak a piece of turmeric in lemon juice for a month, grind it with rosewater, strain it and use it as an eye-drop.
Cardamom powder, when combined with honey, contributes to bright eyes. Apply this daily and wash it off with cold water.
Apply a mixture of ginger and honey and wash it off to ease eye puffiness.
Flora
Place cotton dipped in witch hazel solution on your eyes to cure eye problems and infections.
Mint erases eye puffiness. Apply a mixture of crushed mint leaves, water and lemon juice before going to sleep.
Washing your eyes with a cool fennel solution improves vision and eye health.
Massaging with Aloe Vera gel reduces eye inflammation.
Regular rituals
For brighter eyes, do some exercises like focusing on the movement of a pencil or shutting, squeezing eyes tightly, opening them wide, repeating it till your eyes begin to water.
Wash your eyes and drink plenty of water and juices
Use a warm compress and remove makeup daily
Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sun exposure.
Eat healthy and sleep for 6-8 hours
