I think that some positive will come of this as it should bring the community together to find a survival instinct and find ways to make the ecosystem more self sufficient based on the community. It could also make it more decentralized and align incentives better as developers can take over a build with the support of the community. Definitely a tough call but it will bot be the first time a technology company in development needs to adjust its costs to survive and build out.
