Exchanges

I am new to the Steemit community and this is my first post.

I was wondering what people's thoughts are regarding the fact that a lot of exchanges Bitrrex, BitStamp, Binance, have shut down or really slowed approval for new users. When this backlog eventually clears will it be a sudden driver into the market and more specifically the alt coin market as that is what exchanges are used for mostly?

Just throwing this out there and wanted to see what feedback I can get.
