the team is unkown and they do avoid any questions about it in their bitcointalk thread. there is no proof of an expert team, there is no whitepaper.
I call this thing scam and just a fast way to data mine email addresses.

I did have the same thoughts about the missing team and did do some digging before posting: They ref Fran Strajnar - BraveNewCoin in the ANN and he hasn't denied involvement (that i've heard): https://www.linkedin.com/in/fran-strajnar-5399a640/?ppe=1 They have an alpha coming in 7 days so this will be the telling tale ;)
