She's not being any more or less precise than your average english-speaking YouTuber making an introduction to cryptocurrencies. Plus it's clear she's trying to sell you something, in which case it's up to the viewer to use his judgement.
It seems to be it's not a big of a deal as you're trying to make it.
I agree that she is not being vague. She works for a huge trading firm, and I guess I am just irked by this because I know better and I see it so often in my face. It might be my own frustration coming out.
