イーサリアム・コミュニティによりイーサリアム・ブロックチェーンのハードフォークが決まり日本時間 10 月 16 日 15 時 ～ 22 時（4,370,000 ブロック）の予定だそうで主にセキュリティ強化やネットワークの安全性向上の目的だそうです。このハードフォークでイーサリウムの分裂などはなさそうですが保証されるものではありません。
