Problems with EtherDelta and their possible sell or hack made loads of people irritated. Luckily we have new player in town - Idex. Works smooth and is gaining good volumes right now.
The exchange is decentralized you can connect to it without making any accounts, just using your ethereum wallet, Ledger or Mist apps.
Works waaay better than EtherDelta and looks pretty cool also.
Yeah notice chatbox aka trollbox, not that normal on exchanges this days - esp decentralized (none has it).
There is a few currencies there but the top1 that gave superb volumes to Idex is an ICO that was finally released today - ZIL aka Zilliqa.
Worth to note that ZIL will be listed tommorow on Huobi - one of huge Chinese exchanges.

So if you go to buy some ie ZIL or other coins there you will get some AURA coins that can be traded and used for many things in future. IDEX is just first step of a big project thats coming.

I am happy to see more and more decentralized exchanges. Hopefully in the future the saying " never keep your private keys on exchanges" will be replaced with "never keep your private keys on centralized exchanges"

To get order book liquidity, it's critical that IDEX supports all web3 clients. I can't use it with parity yet, that's a big deal.
I'm just curious if they have done a security audit. ED has been backed quite a few times. @kingscrown

I really didnt know about this IDEX but after listing few ether based ICOs it getting attraction of the viewers .thanks for posting about it.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm getting my head around Crypto more and more each day and I've enjoyed getting into trading, really interested in decentralised exchanges as it just seems like the logical next step from Crypto. Will look into this one now!
Folks need to think about picking up some AURA ASAP while it’s still incredibly undervalued...less than 500 addresses are holding it currently, as well as 1 IDXM if they can afford it. If you trade on any DEX, it will save you an insane amount in fees in the long run.
