Today we had launch of another crazy ICO on Ethereum which ended in 10 minutes with 12,5 millions of dollars gathered.
But unlike in other ICOs, this was just 4,2% of tokens that got sold which made full network worth 312,7 Million USD right now with each token worth 31.27 USD.
It took 12 minutes to reach the goal and close the ICO. Hope you didnt blink too many times when loading website!
Some stats:
Average (mean) address sent 330 ETH ($16,550)
The median (50th percentile) address sent 20 ETH ($1,004)
Participation: 758 addresses
Users bought: 418,777.777777777777427493 Gnosis
Poloniex To Open Trading In A Week
Usualy Poloniex doesnt say what they will list and when, yet this time we have info already.
What is Gnosis?
Its a prediction market made on Ethereum network. You can bet on future outcomes of literally anything with it. Sports, prices, elections - just think about it and you can do it there.

Price will crash once it hits exchanges. Only idiots would fund it at that valuation while 90% of tokens go to developers.
95.8% goes to developers and we are still complaining about steemit.inc owning less than 40% of steem power :)
It is crazy for sure but since it is an ethereum based project nobody calls it out.

Thanks for posting this, I was going to get in on the action and thought I'd log in ten minutes into the auction, it took me 60 seconds to figure out I wasn't dreaming, then another 60 seconds to do some math and then it was over... I thought I was on Ticketmaster trying to get tickets to the latest hot act. lol
After crunching some numbers I figure these guys that bought in early will be there for the long run. IMO; once the tokens hit the market they will drop just not to what I think will be a reasonable price. As others have mentioned; they have just made the developers very rich and to add to this I think there might be an incentive for one or two to take the money and jump ship to start working on another project... Just my two cents.
There will be the crazy gamblers at the very start of the market, then a crash when the supply quickly catches up.
i wanted to make article without my opinion, especially thats its done already. im happy about the comments here.
The people who bought today control only 5% of the GNO tokens, do you really think this is sane? I mean, is it really worth to put money to run in a 300M market cap project when you control less than 5% of the asset?
i did not say if its sane or not, i just gave you information on this event ;)
12,5 million in 10 minutes... that's crazy! Thanks for sharing, seems like we'll have to check out Gnosis!
$300 mill and token holders got 5% of the company while Devs retained 95%! $12.5 mill was the cap so the difference is to devs.
This whole scenario is insane. They're poisoning reverse dutch auctions for the rest of us.
Exactly man, exactly!
That is pretty wild. I wonder if we can expect to pick up some a few weeks after sale starts on Polo for buttons :OD
in DOGE price ;))
Poloniex will trade this but wont put Solarcoin on their exchange?
Thanks for sharing! I'm a newbie still trying to make sense of things, this helped! Heard about the ICO, watched it sell out quick and been curious over stats. Cheers!
Let da bubble begin:)))
Yeah, I'd short this bad boy. Yikes. Should call it "Tulip Coin."
This is going to be the best investment so far. Buy low!
Excellent post! I like your work My friend
Gnosis is a huge scam. They are just spreading a huge hype of a concept which is heavily overvalued and trying to cash in a lot of money. Selling 5% for a 12.5 Million with a total valuation of 312 million for a platform which doesn't exist. It has scam written all over it.
I predict 250K Steemit users before Xmas and a Steem price of $0.40 cents :)
So wait for the big dump and then buy?
Gnosis and Augur discussion here.

Are these similar? Oppose each other or not? I'm contemplating buying Augur now but I don't know whether Gnosis will be a positive influence on the price or negative.
Solid post. I fully understand what you're talking about. There's a lot of exchanges out there. I found that coinmarketcap.com gives quite a decent overview. An interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com They seem to give this complete indepth analysis of all cryptocoins. Go to: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Gnosis#analysis For a complete Gnosis Indepth analysis
