First it was Bitfinex, then ShapeShift, and now Kraken annonced support for Ethereum Classic:
We will be launching full support for Ethereum Classic. Clients holding $ETH at the fork will receive $ETC. More details soon.

The network hashrate on ETHc is now close to 500gh, almost double what it was yesterday. It doesn't look like Ethereum Classic is going away any time soon.

Today the spike in price on ETC was tremendous on Poloniex - almost all the alts down. People sold so they could play on ETC
If the hashrate keeps growing, ETHc might overtake Ethereum in price and network security. I know it doesn't sound very plausible right now but I think there is a good chance. It seems the ETH foundation severely underestimated how important immutability is to crypto people.
