I thought I was getting a good deal this morning when I bought some Ethereum. It had dropped to around $300 and I scooped it up.. then this happened: 😳

A flash crash from $300-$13.. yikes.
Of course it has recovered, but my question is who bought that dip? Haha

😳 really... damn missed that one..

Me too :/

Sadly we will always will lose out on these short dips. I don´t believe anyone on here has been able to buy ETHER at that rate today :D

Not me unfortunately, but damn I wish I had.

Same here.. guess I was busy, didn't notice till later :/

I missed it this time (was in the car driving). But now, I have a ridiculously low limit order in place, just in case! Your move, ETH. :-P

Haha that's a good idea!

For the love of (insert whatever here)

Only the few controlling corporations got it at that rate. The velocity of transactions is monumental. I am sure that trading sites like Polo, Bittrex etc have a slower margin of showing these dips even for people with stoppers.

Yea that's what I'm thinking

http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/wall-street-code/ This is a great documentary about how some investment firms won big money by gaining a competitive advantage over everyone else on Wall Street by being able to trade a few milliseconds ahead of everyone else. I cannot even imagine how it must be and will be for crypto currencies.

Cool, I'll check it out

Someone who bought during the initial ETH offering almost two years ago sold 38,000 ETH.
Guess he had a life threatening emergency...or got #rekt.

Dang, that's crazy

This is crazy

Yea cryptos are risky, but worth it imo

If that graph showed on a "regular" broker´s site I would say it was a bad quote. Does it tend to happen "here" as well? I would say so.
