So iv wondered about this for a while. I'm a massive Ethereum fan, whilst a see massive value in bitcoin for me ethereum can really bring cryptos mainstream. Providing the backbone of many site such as google, brave browser, gambling sites.
The Casper POS algorithm isn't far away. I am really on the fence on how it will change the ethereum price. I do think the hard fork and a recent refund in Coinbase has set ethereum back from over taking bitcoin. I think Ethereum will set the precedent for a true combination of POW and POS making it a power house in the crypto world
What are your thoughts ?

Either way it goes I don't think it will affect the price much at all. We've seen other cryptocurrencies in the past switch their pow to pos or an alternative and it didn't affect their price much.
