It is amazing how in business, especially blockchain business the entire risk of services is pushed to the small investors that are buying a non-existent virtual item. ICO's have gotten out of hand, and until the bottom falls out and many people lose their real world savings we will continue to see more money grabs everyday.

Honestly, I probably haven't paid much attention to "ether" related things because I thought they were NOT decentralized. I mean, I have enough centralized participation in regular financial systems, but I probably will follow your advice and buy a few of the coins when they are officially released on the larger exchanges as portfolio long-term holds.

I really think these ICOs on the ETH blockchain are designed especially for the whales, those guys with deep pockets who are already invested in the cryptos. Besides, what's up with getting your tokens one year later? I think everyone who participated in the Storj ICO almost 2 months ago still hasn't gotten their tokens yet lol.
