When we talk about Ethereum, We know how much potential it has shown us, not only in terms of Investments or Trading but also the technology bringing smart contracts to blockchain.
JP Morgan, Microsoft and many other pioneers are currently working on Ethereum framework. We also have seen over 80% ICOs have been released on ERC20 Tokens based on Ethereum framework.
Recently it has been in news that ETH will be getting Hardfork, switching from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) method and most of us have ignored the fact that it's not just a method switch but also taking ethereum to a new level and heights by increasing anonymity, increasing security standards and many other improvements which are highly required to make Ethereum much better than it is right now.
It has also come to light from many websites claiming, Ethereum has decided not kill mining anymore, rather ETH has decided to postpone this till next update. I cannot claim this news to be 100% true, but it's something that coming up to the light and increasing hopes for ETH miners.
There are also many websites claiming that ETH will kill mining and nothing has changed to that so far.
I don't know what to believe and what not to but think about this, If ETH is really postponing the difficulty bomb, will it be a hard fork or just an update to the network?
I guess time will reveal, we just have to wait and watch, There is a lot of confusion though about this update.
