This salt mine has been around since the 13th century and is called the oldest salt mine in the world. Its length reaches 3.2 km but only a small part of its territory is allowed to be visited by tourists.
Wieliczka salt mine is indeed one of the underground cities that is not only unique but also beautiful in the world. How come? Inside is a katedra built by sculptures or carved directly by the miners of ancient times.
Interior design in it all comes from the stones carved so as to create a natural aesthetic. In addition to the cathedral, inside the salt mine there are also statues and large rooms that are a bit like a ballroom decorated with chandeliers. The unique chandelier in the big room is made of salt! Not only itus aja, the underground city which is none other than salt mine also has an artificial lake! Because of the uniqueness and age of this also also Wieliczka Salt Mine was included in UNESCO world heritage site in 1978.
