100% ECO HANDMADE CLEANING POWDER FOR 1$

in #esteem5 years ago

Do you wanna get cheap, safe but super effective thing for cleaning your dishes and actually everything you like?

This method is very old, it's known for dozens of years in my country, and early it was widely used. Now it's forgotten, people go further and further from such old recipes. A big mistake. They are much better than many modern things.

We need just 2 things:

  • baking soda
  • dry mustard

They can be found in any shop and cost only 1$ for both of them!

No preparations, no waste of time, no difficulty!

Just mix them together, and it's READY!

Soda is famous disinfectiog. This strong alkali can kill all microbes fast and easily.

Dry mustard is user as fat and mess absorption. And it works fine! Even a thick layer of fat can be won fast!

Many years ago my mom worked in the kindergarten, and she told me that at that time all kid's organisation had to use this very mixture for cleaning dishes. It was guarantee of perfect cleaning + safety.

I stopped buying ordinary detergents many years ago, and this method has become one of my favourite in cleaning of my dishes.

Have you heard about it? Have you tried?
Maybe you know some other recipes of eco handmade cleaning?

Thanks. No more toxic soap in the kitchen.

That is brilliant @taliakerch because baking Soda is a good bacteria killer without the chemicals :D

Absolutely! So simple and so brilliant

By the way, we don’t have mustard powder here! What could we use instead?!

Cheers.

Are you sure? It had to be I guess.. mustard is made of it anywhere.
It's great in fighting with fat, what else among natural products can be used... I will think of it!

no, I havent heard this recipe.

( myself, I just returned from a weekly water trip, where I used simple things: sand and twigs / stems / leaves of bilberry and heather).

please, will you consider using tag 'ecotrain' or 'cleanplanet'

Are you sure i can do it?
I think only members of ecotrain can use their tag. No?
Thanks for advice!

This is excellent! I have been looking fir this kind of solution!
Could you also give some suggestion for ego-friendly stuff for cleaning the bathroom? We live in the countryside and don’t want to spoil the soil and underground water.

Thanks ever so much!
