Larvae or caterpillars

If conducted

a survey of larvae, almost 75% of women will be disgusted seeing the appearance of one of these animals, this is because the body shape is chewy and stature is foreign to every human, people who are disgusted to see this species are women and children even though men don't feel like women and children.

But behind all that it turns out that this larva is one species that has lived in the second phase after being an egg of one species. This larva will change again in its life at the third stage which is in the form of a cocoon and so on will become a beautiful butterfly.

But if humans understand the character of larvae more deeply about their character then every organ will no longer be disgusted when they encounter the larvae themselves. Then what is the explanation of the larvae?

🐛 The scientific definition of larvae

When we talk about larvae, there is a lot of understanding about it, in biology itself there are many explanations, but one of them says that larvae are the initial stages or phases of an animal when they just hatch before stepping on or entering the next phase that occurs in the process of perfect metamorphosis. This often happens in the formation of the butterfly process. When a larva changes to the next stage, its appearance is generally very different from the adult form when metamorphosis is perfect as has happened so far.

Why is the larvae deemed so disgusting? This is sourced from the description of the larvae itself, in general the wider community says that the larvae is one of the caterpillars that are in every location such as places where there are many leaves, so that their presence results in a great loss of every object owned by humans, and they will be present when the host plants no longer exist in their area so they will look for other locations that have a lot of food such as residential areas.

Thus it was concluded by the layman that the larva is one of the caterpillars. In the beginning, the caterpillar was far different from the larvae, because when viewed in terms of the process of occurrence. Because some of the larvae come from butterfly eggs and some come from other insect species. So if we know the difference between larvae and caterpillar, then people at least don't feel disgusted with it.

Between each larval life there are differences and types of themselves, as well as their body posture and character. Some of them have a fairly long period of time, either when first hatched, metamorphosed into adulthood, or both. Some organisms have a phase or period of larvae with a very short period of time, sometimes their lives have a few moments like a caterpillar balatung, its life is very short in the position of the caterpillar and then it turns into a fly.
