4 cases of vandalism vandalism
Four cases have been filed in connection with protests, clashes and the residence of the Vice Chancellor at Dhaka University demanding quota reforms. The cases were filed in the Shahbagh Police Station on Tuesday night.
Police said that no one was accused by mentioning names in these cases. The 'unnaturally large number' student has been accused.
Ramna Division Police of the police said, two sub-inspectors of the Shahbagh Police Station (SI) of the four cases filed two cases. One of the two made a special inspector of the police branch. Another case was filed by Chief Security Officer Kamrul Ahsan of the university. No one has been named as accused in any case. Kamrul Ahsan, the plaintiff of Namla, said in the first light that there is a case against unknown miscreants. They have been accused of attempting to kill the Vice-Chancellor and destroying assets worth approximately 1.5 million taka. He said the miscreants burned two cars completely that night and vandalized two cars.
Inspector of Police Special Branch (SB) Humayun Kabir filed another case against unidentified 30-40 people for obstructing duty and burning a motorcycle. In the case (Case No-21), he mentioned that while he was in charge of the Doyle Chattar, his motorcycle burned down an unidentified 30-40 protesting student.
