hello friend steemians how are you all back again with me @Nurhalima, on occasion times I want to discuss animals with large size!
Animals are created in a world of species, families, colors, shapes and sizes. Each of these creatures has their own functions and tasks in the earth's ecosystem.
In terms of size, animals can exist with a very small size that can not be seen with the naked eye, to a very large size can accommodate hundreds of people.
1. Blue Whale
Blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is a marine mammal of the pope's family. With a length of 30 meters and weighing up to 180 tons, this is the largest animal ever in the world.
The whale's tongue is about 2,700 kilograms, which is about the size of an Asian elephant. The weight of the heart is 600 kilograms which is the heaviest organ in any animal body system in the world.
In fact, the size of the blue whale's heart is about the same as the Mini Cooper car.
Blue Whales are said to eat only small marine life like shrimp known as Krill. During the summer, the fish will spray themselves and eat Krill about 3,580 kilos or more each day. This amount is equivalent to 40 million krill, every day.
2. Green Anaconda
The largest member of the giant reptile family in the world is Green Anaconda (Eunectes murinus) from the neotropic river. The largest ever recorded maximum size is 7.5 meters with a length of 250, with larger rumors.
This type of snake found in Southeast Asia is longer and slender, reported to have a length of 9.7 meters.
3. Japanese spider crabs
Japanese spider crabs are a species of sea crab that lives in waters around Japan. It has the longest legs of any arthropod (invertebrate animals from large Arthropod families, such as insects, spiders, or crustaceans).
The length of this crab can reach 3.8 meters with a weight of 19 kilograms. In natural habitat, this Japanese crabs eat animal carcasses and can live up to 100 years.
4. African Elephant
The African elephant is the largest wildlife in the world, with a long elephant of 5 to 7.5 meters, a shoulder height of 3.3 meters and a weight of 5,900 kilograms.
For female elephants smaller in size, with a length ranging from 5.4 to 6.9 meters, with a height of 2.7 meters and weighs 3,000 kilograms.
Adult African elephants usually have no predators because of their size but their newborn children are particularly vulnerable to deadly attacks of crocodiles, tigers and hyenas (rarely).
5. Southern sea elephants
Carnivores are an animal category consisting of more than 280 species of placental mammals including cats, canids (dogs, wolves, coyotes, foxes), bears and seals.
The South Sea elephant is the largest carnivore in existence today. The size of these animals shows extreme sexual differences and is probably the largest in mammals with a male size 6 times heavier than female size.
The female size is between 400 and 900 kilograms with a length of 2.6 to 3.3 meters, while the male size ranges from 2,200 to 4,000 kilograms and the length reaches 4.5 to 5.8 meters.
The largest size ever recorded was 6.85 meters and an estimated 5,000 kilograms were shot at Possession Bay in South Georgia on February 28, 1913.
These sea elephants usually dive repeatedly for more than 20 minutes each time looking for fish or fish at depths of 400 to 1,000 meters. The longest recorded record of nearly 2 hours at a depth of over 1,400 meters.
6. Crocodile saltwater
In many species of reptiles on earth, salted crocodiles are the largest. Usually found in its native habitat from Northern Australia through Southeast Asia to the east coast of India.
The weight of an adult male crocodile is between 409 and 1,000 kilograms in length between 4.1 to 5.5 meters. However, adult crocodiles can reach 5 meters over 1,000 kilograms.
7. Chinese Giant Salamander
In the amphibian category, the Chinese giant salamander (Andrias davidianus) is the largest in the world. The length can reach 180 centimeters.
This salamander is usually found in rivers and rocky mountain lakes in China.
It is also classified as an endangered animal due to habitat loss, pollution and hunting by humans as it is considered a delicacy and is used in traditional Chinese medicine.
